Welcome to the website of the Alberta Association, Canadian Institute of Planners. This site is intended to provide information to the public about the community planning profession (often thought of narrowly as land use planning and development) in Alberta, Northwest Territories and Nunavut. It celebrates some of our membership’s accomplishments, provides information about upcoming events and conferences, offers planning-related links, and contains a digital version of AACIP’s Digest magazine. The site advertises consulting companies that provide planning services, and lists employment opportunities.

This website also hosts a members’ section. Included are the monthly Newstuff newsletters, announcements of professional development opportunities, summaries of presentations from recent AACIP events and similar items of interest, and information about the Association’s day-to-day operations.
